What is PRP?

Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is a natural component in your blood that contains growth factors, proteins, cytokines (molecules that promote healing), and fibrinogen (essential for blood clotting). PRP’s natural healing properties can help repair tissue damage while improving strength and elasticity. These inherent qualities allow PRP to support cell regeneration and enhance skin rejuvenation.
Your provider draws and spins your blood to extract PRP through a centrifuge. This process isolates the PRP for the highest concentration of platelets. Once harnessed, your provider injects PRP into your skin or scalp.

(PRP) Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatments

Facial

A PRP facial involves injecting PRP directly into your skin. The procedure takes about 30 minutes and requires little to no downtime.

Nonsurgical facelift

Combining PRP therapy with dermal fillers can lift and tighten your skin for a refreshed appearance without surgery. The treatment takes about one hour and requires almost no downtime. A standard treatment plan typically involves treatments every 2-4 weeks for a few months.

Hair restoration

Injecting PRP directly into your scalp can help stimulate new hair growth. Rejive Medical Aesthetics uses the SELPHYL® System with a platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) to ensure the highest concentration of platelets. The procedure takes 20-30 minutes and requires at least three monthly treatments, after which you can return for maintenance sessions.

Keralase™

This innovative hair restoration system uses a topical serum rich in growth factors and skin proteins. The Lutronic Ultra® treatment platform uses laser technology to stimulate scalp circulation and help the serum penetrate more deeply.
